Inverary is a tranquil village that was established by the Duke of Argyll in 1745 where the current Duke still resides at Inverary Castle. Overlooking Loch Fyne famous for its fresh delicious fish cuisine. The town has fine architecture which are wonderful to visit including the neoclassical church, and Inveraray Jail and courthouse. The castle is also open to the public, with great family walks in its grounds.
