Self Catering Scotland is owned and operated by Andrew Cantwell and is available to you with the following terms and conditions. By advertising on the site and using the services available you are accepting these terms and conditions.
Whilst we try to ensure that all content featured on the Website is correct at the time of publication no responsibility is accepted by Positive Sales & Marketing for any errors, omissions or inaccurate content on the Website from 3rd parties. Nor do we accept any liability for third party content.
ADVERTISING YOUR BUSINESS ON OUR WEBSITE
The information you provide in relation to your business must be provided in a responsible manner, up to date, accurate and truthful without defamatory, malicious, slanderous or misleading wording. All listings and adverts must be from our client’s websites or social media pages and can also be emailed or submitted via the directory. We are not responsible for any copyright infringement clients may use from other sources.
General
a) Factual claims or offers made must be credible, current, and accurate. Misleading or inaccurate adverts will be rejected and could lead to your business listing being removed from our directory.
b) Any URL included in your advert must be relevant to the advertiser directly and not connected to any spam account, newsfeed or other such promotional material.
c) Adverts must not promote any products or services which are illegal in the UK
.
Image Guidelines
a) Any images which we/you upload with your advert must be your own property or you must have permission from the owner of the image to use it for advertising purposes
b) Copyrighted or trademarked images or text are not permitted unless you or your company owns the relevant copyright or trademark.
c) Images depicting violence or pornographic material is strictly forbidden. Any and all images must be appropriate for all ages. Infringement could mean the removal of the image, advert and your account without further recompense.
d) Images on the Self Catering Scotland website shall be made available to the company for promotional purposes only relating to the website and our directory, as well as promoting our clients on Social Media websites e.g Facebook & Twitter/Instagram.
e) Images relating to our directory and on the website cannot be copied or used in other promotional material without the express written consent of the client and ourselves. Images uploaded by advertisers can and will be used by us in the course of promotional work for and about the advertisers and itself.
Text Guidelines
a) The text of your listing/advert must be written in English and obey the basic rules of spelling, grammar and punctuation.
b) Please ensure the allocated sections for including your URL, telephone numbers and social media information. Please do not include URLs, telephone numbers, or email addresses in the body text of your listing.
c) The mention or promotion of third parties within your listing is strictly forbidden unless agreed and affiliated to the business we are advertising for you.
All submitted listing/web adverts and amendments will be subject to approval by Andrew Cantwell before they are published.

When you chose one of our three packages your business listing is uploaded to the directory.
Payment is made at the time of ordering, via credit, debit card or BACS Transfer.
Invoices will be sent via email or post within 24 hours.
Payment for any of our annual packages is for the year and paid in full at the time we place your information, adverts and links on the Self Catering Scotland Directory. The contract starts when the listing is published online.
The payment terms and renewal date will be stated on your invoice.
We call you near the time of your renewal to ask if you would like to advertise for the year ahead.
Adverts appearing on the directory will be live and available to view within 48 hours of taking payment. Usually within one working day of successful payment.
Call us if you would like to upgrade from Basic to Enhanced package and feature more updates, podcasts, jingles, video and discounts on a regular basis.

When an advert/listing request is submitted the advertiser will be asked for payment at the time of ordering via credit or debit card on registration or if required by BACS transfer. All invoices will be sent via email within 24 hours.
Yearly bookings will be paid in one lump sum at the time of placing the advert and listing on our directory.
The contract starts when the listing/advert is published online, shortly after taking payment for the fee covering the annual listing.The payment terms and renewal date will be stated on your invoice.
Adverts appearing on the directory will be live and available to view within 48 hours of taking payment. Usually within one working day of successful payment.
For yearly bookings renewal options will be made available to you 28 days before your agreement comes to an end. If you choose not to renew annually, your listing/advert will be removed from the website at the end of the agreement.
Privacy Statement
Self Catering Scotland and our Directory take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you have requested from us.
If you are featured in interviews, blogs, articles, radio or television broadcasting generated through the promotional aspect of our consultancy and directory, disclaimers will be available and permission will be arranged if further media exposure is agreed
