Kentraw Farmhouse Islay is a luxury Self Catering property sleeping 8-10 people.
Located high above the beautiful area of Bruichladdich with stunning views in every direction of the Isle of Islay.

The property is set in 4 acres of grounds, with wild moorland to the rear of the property and farmland running down to the shores of Loch Indaal. There is outdoor lighting at night for safe walking from car park to front or back entrance of house.

Kentraw Farmhouse is located a third of a mile off the main road and has ample parking within the grounds. We also have storage for bicycles or other leisure equipment should you wish.

Accommodation

Kentraw Farmhouse Islay offers fresh, modern and spacious living accommodation for you to enjoy during your stay. The reception area offers a quiet, relaxing environment with comfortable seating to chat, read or plan your itinerary for the days ahead.  The lounge offers large leather sofas surrounding a wood burning stove… perfect for those cold winter evenings. There is also a large flat screen television with Sky FreeSat channels where you can catch up with current affairs or choose from a collection of DVD’s. A collection of books and board games are also available for all our guests to enjoy.

The kitchen is a delightful welcoming room with a beautiful heated flag floor and solid oak furniture. Large fridge/freezer, large gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Tassimo coffee machine, and wash/dryer machine.  All electrical equipment is PAT tested annually.

Bedrooms

Tastefully decorated bedrooms with luxury finishes. All our rooms offer down-filled duvets and pillows, 100% pure cotton bedding, soft wool carpets, full wi-fi broadband connectivity, satellite television, hairdryer and luxury en-suite facilities with under-floor heated tiles and a range of complimentary Arran Aromatic toiletries.

Room 1
Located at the front of the house, this room enjoys breath-taking views across Loch Indaal. The room boasts a king size bed, solid oak furnishings and luxury en-suite bathroom facilities.

Room 2
The Master Suite is an extremely spacious, well appointed room. Also situated at the front of the house, this room takes in the outstanding views across Loch Indaal. The Master Suite offers a super king size bed as well as an informal seating area. The super king bed can be split into a twin if required. The leather settee can also be turned into a double bed. This room also has a luxury en-suite bathroom featuring an extra-large shower.

Room 3
An attractive, side facing room with king size bed, solid oak furnishings and views over the moorland towards Colonsay and Mull in the distance. Rooms 3 and 4 have a shared interconnecting bathroom.

Room 4
A spacious room offering twin beds, solid oak furnishings and dual aspect moorland views.
