Fairy Hill Self Catering Islay is the perfect place to stay to enjoy the the wonderful beaches of the south eastern coastline of Islay.
Our accommodation is a quaint, secluded Victorian cottage which gives the perfect base from which to discover wildlife, whisky distilleries, nature, folklore whilst being remote enough for serenity.
Located at the bottom of the magical Fairy Hill, where in folklore the Queen of the Fairies resides, the area and cottage are steeped in history and famed ancient local legends.

Pets: Fairy Hill Cottage does not currently allow pets
Disabled Access: Fairy Hill Cottage is all on one floor with no stairs. There is a small step at the front door; if you require a ramp please let us know in advance.
Rates and Booking 2022
The cottage is available for weekly lets from Saturday to Saturday.
During Off-Peak Season the cottage can be let for shorter stays – please enquire for availability and rates.
If booking late during Peak Season we may be able to offer shorter stays within the available week’s dates.

All prices are for the cottage and its two double bedrooms being let.
Price includes all linens, towels and electricity as well as logs for the fire and other extras mentioned on our Details page.

Local Area Information
The cottage is located a short walk from the famous Kildalton Cross are 3 of Islay’s eight famous distilleries; Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphroaig. Islay is also known as Whisky Island due to the large number of whisky distilleries.
During mid-September to October you will hear the call of the male red deer during the rutting season.
