Sebay Mill Self Catering Orkney is an ex Mill building that has been lovingly restored and made into 6 award winning self catering apartments. Designed and finished to a high standard providing 4 and 5 star accommodation. Situated ten minutes from the main town of Kirkwall it is ideally located for restaurants and shops and exploring the island.

Each individual unit has been finished to the highest possible standard from specially commissioned artwork by Sam MacDonald. The bedrooms are all furnished with natural timber fittings, whilst double rooms have king size beds. All kitchens are fully equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, stainless steel cookers and a microwave whilst the bathrooms all have a separate bathroom and shower fitted.

Each apartment contains a TV, DVD and CD player along with other essentials including an iron and board, alarm clock and hair dryer.

On arrival you are given a tour of your accommodation and are presented with a welcome pack containing Orkney cheese, fudge and other delights.

A large garden with a decking area is located at the front, with a bridge over the burn leading to another large garden. Private parking is also available behind the building.

When planning a stay on Orkney no doubt you are seeking peace and tranquility then Sebay Mill Orkney offers high class accommodation, close to all amenities but removed enough to offer serenity.

The Mill stored grain that had been ground for use on the island, once it closed it lay derelict for many years. Three years of bringing it back to life again have resulted in these beautiful apartments that boast tremendous views of the surrounding countryside.

Each apartment has been decorated in a way that creates a relaxing ambience. Subtle lighting can enhance a number of moods. Home from home entertainment is on hand with TV, DVD and CD players with a number of films to watch and music to choose from. Irons and hairdryers are provided.

If you travel to Orkney in a car, there is private parking directly behind the building and a large garden at the front, with a decking area, a burn and a bridge over the burn which leads to another large garden area.

The kitchens are fully equipped with stainless steel cookers, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher and microwave.

The bedrooms are furnished with natural timber fittings and all double rooms have king size beds. The bathrooms all have a seperate shower and bath. At Sebay Mill, you’ll find Gilchrest & Soames toiletries, slippers and luxury bathrobes.

Please note: we are very sorry, but pets are not allowed in Sebay Mill.
