Welcome to Ballivicar Farm Self Catering Islay, situated on a small family farm, with sheep, horses, chickens, dogs and cats.  The farm is traditional yet environmentally friendly. Attached to the farm house are 3 lovely self catering and well equipped apartments called The Chougherie, The Hayloft and The Bothy.

The farm is situated close to but quite separate from Port Ellen, it is within 15 minutes of Islay’s principal ferry port, airport and its only golf course. The three most distinctive of Islay’s nine functioning distilleries are also within easy reach. The sea and empty beaches are, of course, ubiquitous on the island, which is, in many ways, locked in a time-warp.

The Hayloft Self Catering Apartment

The Hayloft has one bedroom (twin beds), large living area, open plan kitchen and en-suite bathroom. WiFi is available for our guests. We supply all linen and we also have a washing machine.

The Chougherie Self Catering Apartment

The Chougherie  has three bedrooms, one double king size bedroom with ensuite shower, one twin bed bedroom and one single bedroom. There is a separate bathroom to these two bedrooms. We have an open plan kitchen with the lounge.   We supply all linen and we have a washing machine.  WIFI is available  for all our guests.

Prices and Periods

• April, September and October £840 per week.
• May, June, July and August £900 per week
• Week long bookings only.

Terms

We are happy to accept well behaved dogs. Full period’s rate will be charged on cancellations within one week of arrival unless cottage can be relet.

Booking & Deposit

Please select your available period below, a booking form appears in which you can enter your information. A £100 non refundable deposit will secure your booking. Payments can be made with Paypal using your credit/debit card.
