Bowmore Self Catering Islay
Bowmore Self Catering Islay offer 3 wonderful self catering cottages on the Island of Islay, the most southerly of the Inner Hebrides, that is clement all year around thanks to its proximity to the Gulf Stream. There is plenty to offer visitors with deserted golden beaches, undulating hills, acres of woodland, natural history and ancient folklore. There is plenty of birdlife to delight ornithologists and there are also deer and seals.
“The island of Islay, unique, remote and often mysterious, lends an attraction which draws you back time after time, always sending you home with memories that will stay in your heart forever ”
With 9 whisky distilleries, a championship 18 hole golf course, sea and loch fishing on many, pony trekking, hill walking and diving the coastline’s many ship wrecks, add to the romance of the island. Enjoy freshly caught seafood and locally produced meats in many of the island’s hotels and restaurants. And no experience would be complete without joining in at one of the many ceilidhs or dances.
